Northern Gas Networks

Northern Gas Networks (NGN) is the owner and operator of the gas distribution network in the north-east, parts of Cumbria and most of Yorkshire, delivering gas to 2.9 million homes and businesses.
Through the East Coast Hydrogen project, NGN is developing a proposal to demonstrate how new and existing pipelines could transport hydrogen to clean power and industry in the Humber and Teesside regions.
